Criteria for adding a company to the list are;
- Must have a commercial purpose - whether selling software licenses or providing support and enhancement services.
- Offer downloads of their software (including source) under either the GPL or their own versions of an Open Source license.
- Must have a product offering - pure consulting companies are not included
Lee,
Thanks, I added Wind River under embedded - I think that's more consistent with the others in the same category.

Stu - you forgot WindRiver under Linux distributions. Our Linux distros (Network Equipment, Consumer Devices, and General Purpose) meet all three of your criteria.
I'd also 1) put Montavista under Linux distributions rather than Embedded System Support, or 2) rename the category to better fit what MV, TT, and Timesys do.
Cheers,
Lee Courtney

maybe you should use a commercial open source wiki to maintain the list publicly, like with Socialtext
